Kinematix TUNE is a simple, easy to use wearable that goes beyond measuring the basic stats. TUNE goes beyond pace or speed to also measure each foot s ground-contact and heel-contact time. It is the only wearable on the market that applies in-shoe monitoring to both feet at the same time allowing it to get these relevant parameters that will build the assessment of runners technique during a run. It also provides a personalized Running Plan based on the analysis of each runner s personal profile and the evolving patterns detected during runs and training. The better your running technique is, the better your results are, and with fewer injuries. RUNNER PROFILE Kinematix TUNE builds your runner profile and will continue to evolve it with each run. This allows you to evaluate your performance wholistically, for individual runs or even segments of runs, so you can understand where you performed best and where you need a little more work. The profile is built using running data from the insoles, GPS and personal information you provide such as age, height, weight, among others. PERSONALIZED EXERCISE PLAN Based on your runner profile, the TUNE app creates a personalized Exercise Plan that aims at improving your form and help you avoid bad running habits that can result in injury or health complications (overtraining and stress fractures, e.g.). Not only does TUNE recommend specific exercises for you, but it will show you how to do them with video demonstrations. This ensures that you have proper form when doing the exercise and avoid injury. MEANINGFUL INFORMATION Kinematix TUNE continuously measures an extensive amount of very relevant data, more so than any other wearable, by monitoring both feet in-shoe. This allows it to detect and visualize asymmetries between the left and right foot and heel and ground contact times all of which can be corrected with the proper training. All this information can also be shared with your coach or running group so everyone can work at running smarter and more efficiently together. TUNE ENHANCES COACHES' WORK Performance matters. So, Kinematix TUNE provides coaches with valuable insights into their athletes' running performance and technique. Once the information is shared, they ll receive information regarding distance, time, speed changes, altitude (other information is also available and ready to share). Getting this information will also help coaches to know their runners better and provide better support. (Coming Fall 2016) ADDITIONAL FEATURES: - Not everyone wants to carry a phone when they run, so TUNE connects to your smart watch so that you can still gather your run data and then evaluate post-run. (Coming Fall 2016) - Two or more runners at home? No need to buy more than one TUNE system (as long as you don t run at the same time). Just buy extra pairs of insoles and share the devices amongst the runners. DISCLAIMER Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. (TUNE only uses gps tracking when the user starts a run)
